L.J. Star Introduces Energy-Efficient LED Sight-Glass Luminaires

L.J. Star has launched two new LED sight-glass luminaires that are resistant to shocks and vibrations. The Lumiglas USL 36-LED and USL 16-LED luminaires are suitable for washdown and sanitary applications in industrial, biotech, food processing, and pharmaceutical facilities in safe areas.

The luminaires require less maintenance, and offer high reliability and minimal energy consumption compared to traditional lights. The sight-glass luminaires use an LED lighting that has an operating life of 50,000 h and consumes 7 W of power. In addition, the lighting solution is conveniently replaceable and is compatible with a typical GU10 or E27 socket.

The Lumiglas USL 36-LED and USL 16-LED are suitable for vibration-prone and heat-sensitive applications. The luminaires enable rapid light-source replacement compared to conventional LED based luminaires. The Lumiglas USL16-LED permits viewing and lighting to occur simultaneously via a single sight glass, and mounts with a mounting bracket. The Lumiglas USL 36-LED positions a flush- to a sight-glass port by utilizing a MetaClamp sanitary clamp link.
