New Exposition at Deutsches Museum Illustrates Laser Technology

Munich-based Deutsches Museum now hosts a new permanent exhibition on laser technology. The exhibit, called ‘Light as a Tool’, demonstrates and discusses the laser with its applications when used as a tool.

Ditzingen-based Berthold Leibinger Stiftung is collaborated with the exhibit. The presentation will show the use of laser technology in all types of application fields. Furthermore, the exhibit offers discusses the evolution of the laser and examples of the laser’s practical uses.

The exhibit demonstrates the possibilities of the laser in three categories, namely, medicine, manufacturing, and information. Berthold Leibinger Stiftung has donated the Light as a Tool exhibit.

The Foundation promotes the application of laser technology with a Research prize and an international Innovation Prize. In addition, numerous other companies and institutes have supported for this exhibition.
