ETE Unveils Turnkey Cooling Systems for Fiber Coupled Laser Diodes

Elite Thermal Engineering (ETE) announced that it has launched advanced cooling systems for fiber coupled laser diodes manufactured by nLight, QPC, Jenoptik and LIMO. The cooling modules can be customized for fiber coupled laser diodes that are developed by laser diode suppliers such as IPG, Spectra-Physics and Coherent.

Thermoelectric Cooling Module

ETE provides two series of turnkey cooling modules. One is used for diodes with integral thermoelectric coolers (TECs) and the other is used for diodes without integral TECs.

The first turnkey cooling module series is manufactured by the OCP series thermoelectric cold plates and the MC-1000 series controllers. The cooling module incorporates CS-300, CS-150, CS-110 and CS-050. Each module comes with a thermoelectric controller, thermal interface pad and a thermoelectric cold plate.

The second turnkey cooling module is ideal for Jenoptik’s iTEC series fiber coupled laser diodes. The first product in the cooling module range is the CS-JOLD-45 for JOLD-45-CPXF-1L. The device features a thermal pad for laser mounting, a MC-1000-CS-JOLD-45 thermoelectric controller and a HS-004 heatsink module.
