Toshiba Introduces Advanced LCD TVs at Suntec International Convention Center

Japan-based company, Toshiba has released a range of LCD televisions at the Suntec International Convention Center. The new LCD televisions are mainly targeted at the Asian market.

Toshiba exhibited the Toshiba Power TV PC 1 from its LED-backlit LCD Toshiba Power TV series. This model comprises a spare Lithium-ion battery that can last for two hours. Other models displayed at the center included the REGZA GL1 3D TV, the Power TV PB 1, the 3D LED TV REGZA WL700 and the TV 55ZL800 TV.  The company claimed that the REGZA GL1 3D TV is the world’s first glasses-less television.

The 55’’ 55ZL800 TV incorporates a new CEVO Engine, an advanced multiprocessor platform that provides excellent sound, enhanced 3D and superior image quality. The model is designed for home entertainment applications.

The WL700 slim LED TVs will be available in 55’’ and 46’’ models. The model was developed by Toshiba and Jacob Jensen Design, a leading design studio in Europe.
