Hamamatsu Photonics Rolls Out L11390 Super Luminescent Diodes

Hamamatsu Photonics UK has released a new range of superluminescent diodes featuring a 20 mW radiant flux at 905 nm peak wavelength.

The L11390 series is suitable for a number of applications such as medical, fiber optics, measurement, optical coherence tomography, optical gyroscopes and ophthalmology.

The L11390 superluminescent diodes have a low coherency level compared to a standard laser diode. The diodes feature a small emission area and are available in various packages including head-out OHS, side-out OHS and 9-mm CD types.
