C. Crane Unveils Energy-Efficient Cool White LED Bulbs

California-based company, C. Crane has released new LED light bulbs that can be used to replace a 50 W compact florescent type or standard incandescent bulb.

The GeoBulb-3 cool white LED bulbs are suitable for use in numerous 60 W applications, and consume a minimal energy of 40% compared to a standard 12 W LED bulb.

The A19-size GeoBulb-3 LED bulbs offer a luminous flux of 520 lm and a luminous efficacy of 74 lm/W and consume 7 W of power. The LEDs have an operating life of 50,000 h and include special ceramic capacitors within a proprietary design. The combination of high-temperature driver components and ceramic capacitors maximize the reliability and durability of the LEDs.

The LEDs operate at a lower lesser temperature than the rated temperature, thereby increasing the bulb life. The GeoBulb-3 bulbs release minimal heat compared to a standard incandescent bulb. In addition, the UL listed LEDs contain no lead or mercury, and are FCC compliant.
