Bridgelux Launches Pre-Wired LED Arrays for Lighting Manufacturers

LED lighting technologies and solutions provider, Bridgelux has streamlined the LED light source assimilation process for lighting producers by launching new wiring choices for its solid-state light sources such as rectangular RS and ES Array Series.

These options improve the plug and play functionality provided by these arrays and in turn facilitate easy system-level assimilation and faster design cycles.

The latest wiring option offers two wires that are fused to the electrical contact pads of the LED arrays. Bridgelux customers can order the wiring option for all Bridgelux rectangular RS and ES Array Series that offer operational lumens from 800 to 4500 in all existing color temperatures.

The electrical assembling of the light source into the luminaire can be simplified with pre-wired arrays. Using this option, Bridgelux clients can eliminate the soldering procedure in their plants and can use the interconnection procedures, which are common in the lighting industry.

Bridgelux Product Manager Mick Wilcox commented that the new wiring option eradicates certain production processes and in turn reduces the product development time and the associated expenditures. This enables the company’s customers to produce their products quickly and efficiently.
