Digital imaging specialist, Canon USA has launched its first ultra-resolution installation projector called the REALiS WUX4000 D Installation LCOS Projector for the medical education industry.
The REALiS WUX4000 D comes with a Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) simulation mode, which reproduces the results of equipment that comply with the DICOM Part 14 display operation for exhibiting grayscale images. DICOM is a worldwide standard for information technology, which is employed in almost all hospitals to guarantee the functionality of the medical imaging systems.
The DICOM simulation mode enables 21 varieties of grayscale gradation. Medical educators use the Canon’s fourth-generation authentic AISYS-enhanced Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) optical system to display thorough and complicated images with high precision to a huge number of audiences.
The REALiS WUX4000 D comes with three optional ultra-resolution interchangeable lenses for dissimilar projection sizes and throw distances. It is also equipped with zoom, focus and motorized lens shift.
The LCOS projector offers 1920x1200 WUXGA resolutions and 16:10 widescreen images at 4000 lm. It has a built-in integrated circuit for color correction. The color correction IC, along with the AISYS-enhanced LCOS system, offers high-precision color simulation and luminosity correction without changing the display of adjoining colors. The projector’s air filter and lamp can be changed from its side, while its PS optical filter can be changed from the top.
