Vitronic Introduces Linescan Camera for Solar Cell Inspection

Vitronic has rolled out a new color line scan camera from the VINSPECsolar product series that integrates print and color inspections of solar cells. The high-resolution camera forms the heart of the VINSPECsolar system and offers 64 MP image data.

VINSPECsolar

High-resolution is obtained by using four separate lines for colors such as black, white, blue, green and red with 40 µm resolution. The system offers better color classification, enhanced print quality and maximum LED illumination. In addition, the image processing system inspects geometries, edges, surfaces and color reliably and accurately.

Vitronic offers numerous features in solar cell inspection such as higher resolution for print inspection, enhanced process monitoring for texture inspection and quicker micro-crack detection. The VINSPECsolar provides improved classification for thin film modules, solar modules, solar cells and wafers. The VINSPECsolar optimizes the production processes and maximizes the output quantity.
