Mitsubishi Electric Installs Large-Scale LED Display at Hiratsuka Stadium

Mitsubishi Electric has installed a large-scale Diamond Vision display system at the Hiratsuka Stadium in Japan. The 800’’ screen is the first large-scale LED display to be installed at the athletics stadium in Hiratsuka City.

The 17.76 m×9.84 m display uses digital screen controllers and high-luminance LEDs that are positioned horizontally and vertically in a 15 mm dot pitch. The screen displays the video content in HD quality and offers slow-motion replays, live videos as well as graphic and textual information.

Mitsubishi Electric’s display system is compatible with PCs and displays the information about sporting events on the screen. The company has previously installed a number of Diamond Vision large-scale displays at various stadiums in Japan. In addition, the company intends to expand its display business for sports facilities and public stadiums.
