Maple Systems, a company specializing in manufacturing industrial operator interface solutions, has launched two new 10’’ and 7’’ high-resolution Touchscreen Open HMIs featuring a pre-installed Windows CE version.
The displays have a contrast ratio of 16:9 and provide 30% more viewing area compared to the typical 4:3 screens in the same sizes.
The graphics clarity of the display is enhanced with the 65,000 colors of the LED display, screen resolution of 800x400 pixels, and the RISC processor. The Open HMIs feature an Audio Jack, SD Card Slot, three Serial COM Ports, USB Ports, and an Ethernet Port for improved connectivity.
The combination of Windows CE’s resident web browser and improved connectivity offers versatility to customers. By connecting external speakers, printer, mouse, and an external keyboard, the hardware of the HMIs can be improved further. The Open HMIs have optional Web Studio Software, Ethernet connectivity, and preloaded web browser, making them suitable for remote monitoring and remote data entry.
