Portable Power Systems, a provider of battery solutions, announced that it has launched a new series of laser diode drivers.
Laser Diode Driver
The PPS series touch screen laser diode drivers provide a huge 5.7”, 262,000-color LCD graphical user interface display and are user friendly. The laser diode drivers provide recall and save configurations for frequency, pulse width, current, and voltage.
The PPS series laser diode drivers come in quasi-continuous-wave or continuous-wave formats. Maximum currents of 400 A and maximum voltages of 250 V can be attained by using the laser diode drivers. The user can enter the parameters through the touch screen by utilizing an iPOD type control or a displayed keypad. They can also be handled by using a general-purpose interface bus or a RS-232 interface.
