Global Holdings, Solite Collaborate to Commercialize Direct-Solar Lighting System

Global Holdings has collaborated with an Arizona-based company, Solite for a direct-solar lighting solution. Solite commercializes a new patent-pending, direct-solar lighting system that produces sunlight through rooftop collector arrays. In addition, Solite transports the solar solution to light building interiors.

The natural light can be combined with efficient artificial lighting and LED to enable eco-friendly, high quality illumination during the entire day. Solite has signed a MOU with a strategic company in the electrical construction and building business to distribute, commercialize, and install the systems from Solite in particular international and domestic markets. In addition, Solite anticipates releasing the solar lighting solutions in 2011. Global Holdings is a technology incubator, providing specialized support services and resources.
