Lighting retrofit company, Value Energy Solutions has completed AT &T’s lighting retrofit project at the Lindbergh Center, which is the first development in Atlanta for transit-oriented mixed usage. The Lindbergh Center has two fourteen-story office towers neighboring to the Lindbergh MARTA Station.
Atlanta-based parking management company, Lanier Parking Solutions controls the parking decks at the Lindbergh Center. Lanier Parking consulted Value Energy Solutions to calculate the energy savings that Lanier Parking can achieve by updating and retrofitting the lighting in the two parking decks. In turn, Value Energy Solutions conducted a complete analysis of AT&T’s energy saving objectives and the current parking deck lighting.
Value Energy Solutions specified more than 11,100 2-Lamp T-5 54wHO Vapor Tight Fluorescent lights for the retrofitting of parking decks. Subsequently, Lanier Parking chose a 40,000 hour rated lamp to minimize lighting maintenance costs and increase the energy savings.
The Vapor Tite Reflector Series Linear Fluorescent fixtures utilized in the retrofit project use T-5 lamping that offers high lumen output and energy efficiency. The Vapor Tight comes in three piece design snaps with no tools, and are suitable for schools, canopies, breezeways, warehouses, and parking structures. In addition, the fixtures are surface mounted and feature reflector series to increase light disbursement.
