Bausch + Lomb Unveils PureVision 2 with High-Definition Optics Contact Lenses

Bausch + Lomb announced that it has introduced the new PureVision 2 with High Definition Optics contact lenses that decreases halos and glare, in addition to delivering enhanced vision. The contact lenses deliver numerous enhancements that help in overcoming the challenges of contact lens wearers such as spherical aberration.

PureVision 2 optimizes the design to decrease spherical aberration across the overall power range. The lenses are packed in a distinct solution and offers increased comfort on insertion. The lenses also offer high oxygen transmissibility levels to assure a proper environment for the eyes. The lenses are also very convenient to handle.

Bausch + Lomb’s Director of Professional Relations, North America, Dr. Michael Pier stated that the initial response for the PureVision 2 with High Definition Optics has been very encouraging. Bausch + Lomb’s VP of Brand Marketing stated that the company looked into various lifestyles of people before designing the PureVision 2 with High Definition Optics contact lenses.
