Meritec Introduces QSFP+ Active Optical and Passive Optical Cable Assemblies

Developer of high-performance electronic and electrical interconnect embedded systems, Meritec has introduced the new QSFP+ Passive Copper and Active Optical Cable Assemblies to meet the cable assembly requirements of the customers.

QSFP+ Cable Assemblies

The QSFP+ cable assemblies comply with RoHS and SFF-8436 and support the IEEE Ethernet specifications.

The QSFP+ Passive Copper Cable Assembly comes in various conductor sizes to attain maximum performance. It can be combined with all types of standard QSFP interfaces. Improved EMI shielding lowers emissions and contributes to very low crosstalk that will increase the overall performance.

The QSFP+ Active Optical Cable Assembly features four separate optical lanes. It functions between 1 and 10.5 Gbps at maximum lengths of 100 m. All the fibers of the cable assembly are terminated inside the backshell.
