AIS Launches Open Frame Monitors with LED Backlit Technology

American Industrial Systems (AIS), manufacturer of digital signage products, has launched a series of open frame monitors with LED backlit technology. The open frame LCD displays have durable LED backlights and consume less power.

The displays come in various sizes ranging from 5.7" to 21.5". They are available with wide temperature, high contrast, wide viewing angles, and high brightness operation features.

The monitors support various touchscreen technologies such as infrared (IR), surface acoustic wave (SAW), capacitive, and resistive technologies. The displays are ideal for plastics and robotics manufacturing, metalworks, textile, electrical/electronics, material handling, packaging, and assembling applications.

The touchscreen displays are placed in sturdy industrial steel housings. They are designed to manage industrial environments and temperatures ranging from 0ºC to 50ºC. The LED backlit monitors save 30% to 50% of energy, when compared to the CCFL backlight LED light source. The optional bezels seal the display against liquids, dust, and dirt. The displays utilize industrial-grade LCD panels that provide reliability, stability, and longevity.
