Provider of semiconductor solutions, Mindspeed Technologies announced that it is expanding the crosspoint portfolio by launching the new 36x36 and 48x48 devices. The company is exhibiting its signal-conditioning and switching solutions at SC10 Expo that is being held in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The 36x36 M23636 and 48x48 M21148 crosspoint switches have Mindspeed's Amplif-Eye technology that offers maximum signal transmission speeds of 6.5 Gbps. The Amplif-Eye signal-integrity solutions allow network, server, and storage systems to support high data rates over cabling media. The Amplif-Eye solutions offer ultrafast data transmission across backplane traces. The switches feature re-timing signal conditioners and re-driving signal conditioners.
Mindspeed, in addition to displaying the crosspoint switches, will also highlight as to how the M21363 CDR sustains high-speed PCI Express data rates, in addition to transferring data from and to a video card. The company will also exhibit the dual-channel M21450 executing serial attached SCSI (SAS) protocol.
Mindspeed’s Senior VP of the Analog Business Unit, Kurt Busch stated that the Amplif-Eye products are vital for almost all high-performance PCI Express system designs.
