Federal Signal Launches New Hazardous Location Light Wall Bracket

Federal Signal has released a new Model, Light, Hazardous, Wall, Bracket (LHWB) for use with the company’s stationary warning lights. The Model LHWB offers a consistent and easy solution to mount wall lights for various institutional, commercial, and industrial applications.

The Model LHWB has a 3/4-inch NPT male pipe connection along with optional bushings for 1-inch and 1/2-inch fixture mounting. The device can be wired via the 3/4-inch or 1/2-inch conduit openings in the black box that is engineered for vertical surface mounting.

Federal Signal’s Model LHWB is coated with black powder-coat enamel paint, and is made of sturdy copper-free aluminum. The mounting kit is available with a weatherproof black box, bracket, and the required assembly hardware. The Model LHWB is cUL and UL listed for Class III; Class II Division 2, Groups G and F; Class 1, Division 2, and Groups D, C, B and A. In addition, the device is UL Listed to UJTK (UJTK-7)-Visual Signal Appliance Subassemblies for application in hazardous environments.
