Provider of lighting control systems, Acuity Brands has expanded its series of nLight intelligent digital lighting control systems with a new relay cabinet. The nPANEL system provides electrical contractors and lighting designers a convenient and quick method to include multiple dimming outputs and switching relays to an nLight-integrated lighting control network.
Acuity Brands' Sensor Switch has developed the nLight digital technology that is being integrated in all Acuity’s luminaire and control products. The nLight digital technology platform combines manual lighting and daylight harvesting controls, time clock control and occupancy sensors into a single lighting and control system.
The use of nLight technology in an integrated lighting system reduces wiring and device count, improves occupant convenience, and provides cost and energy savings. The nPANEL is the latest line of nLight-enabled solutions, and is available in 2-relay or 4-relay configurations.
The nPANEL 4 model uses four 30 A rated relays and couples them with a dimming output of 0 to V DC, thus allowing connected loads to be dimmed or switched as per the requirement. The nPANEL 2 480 model offers dimming and switching of two phase 480/240/208 V AC loads.
