BetaLED Introduces Edge Pathway Lighting Fixture

BetaLED has introduced a new luminaire called the Edge pathway lighting for illuminating pathways. The LED fixtures provide durability, high efficiency, and require less maintenance as compared to conventional lighting fixtures.

THE EDGE LED Pathway Lighting

The luminaire uses a new bi-level activity-sensing smart technology to reduce the energy costs considerably. A microwave occupancy sensor, used in the BetaLED technology, signals the lighting fixture to function in low mode when the sensor detects no activity. This feature enables the reduction in energy consumption 66%, but decreasing the light level only by 50%.

The two-level option of the luminaire, along with suitable drivers, maximizes lumen output, energy savings, and LED life. Consumers can easily adjust the time delay and luminaire light level on the microwave occupancy sensor. The Edge LED fixture can operate for 100,000 hrs, and it offers reliable pedestrian lighting for common areas, parkways and walkways.

The luminaire comes in four height options--the 8’ pedestrian fixture, 36’’ pathway fixture, and the 13’’ and 18’’ landscape fixture. The 13’’ fixture does not have the two-level feature. The Edge pathway LED luminaires are mercury-free, and have greater light control with no warm-up time, making the fixtures an ideal lighting option.
