NEC Rolls Out MultiSync PA231W Monitor

Manufacturer of LCD display and projector systems, NEC Display Solutions has rolled out the MultiSync PA231W graphics monitor that is suitable for users and photographers working in color-crucial applications.

The MultiSync PA231W monitor provides improved connectivity for users, including a USB hub, VGA, two DVI-D inputs and a DisplayPort. The monitor’s enhanced color performance delivers 1000:1 contrast ratio, full HD resolution and 71.6% coverage of NTSC color space.

Graphics pros will utilize the 14-bit 3D lookup table for accurate color calibrations. Users, with the help of the DisplaySync Pro technology, can manage two PCs linked to the monitor with a single mouse and keyboard. This attribute is crucial for photographers who work in various operating systems and color spaces.

The MultiSync PA231W monitor has a brightness of 270 cd/m² and consumes 46 W of power. Its AmbiBright sensor automatically alters the brightness of the monitor based on the external lighting conditions. The Color Vision Emulation feature enables a swift color preview. The monitor is ENERGY STAR 5.0 compliant and covers 96.6% of sRGB and 75.4% of AdobeRGB.
