DINSpace Rolls Out SNAP Compact Fiber Optic Patch Panel

DINSpace, provider of industrial connectivity devices, has unveiled a new SNAP Compact Fiber Optic Patch Panel.

SNAP Patch Panel with ST Connectors and Tray Open

The panel offers fiber-optic patch capability in field termination enclosures on a 35 mm DIN-Rail. It enables users to eliminate field distribution optical fiber cable in field enclosures that need lesser enclosure area when compared to conventional IT hardware.

Approximately 24 fiber strands of single-mode or multimode fiber can be eliminated in the SNAP’s 6.25” x 5.125” x 2.75” enclosure. Adapter interfaces are also available for multimode or single-mode fiber in LC, SC, and ST form factors.

The patch panel is manufactured from sturdy powder-coated steel, and its compact size is ideal for restricted space enclosures. It features a slide-hinged faceplate that helps in field termination. The panel supports both fusion splice and patch field terminations.
