Olympus Medical Systems has unveiled the new BX3 range of clinical microscopes, namely, the BX46 screening microscope and the BX43 system microscope. The BX3 clinical microscopes use the latest Olympus UIS2 optical components, and deliver high imaging flexibility with comfortable operation.
The BX3 microscopes feature a number of contrast and motorisation options, as well as labSens software. The microscopes incorporate a true-colour LED illumination system that has a distinct wavelength profile. The unique profile offers a colour rendering index that matches the colour rendering index of a halogen bulb with one daylight filter. As a result, the BX3 microscopes offer high colour clarity throughout all brightfield stains.
The Light Intensity Manager (LIM) controls the true-colour LED system. The LIM adjusts the intensity level to user-defined levels automatically, thereby eliminating the necessity for manual adjustment. The BX3 microscopes are optically optimised to enhance workflows.
The BX3 range of microscopes feature mirror turret and coded nosepiece modules allowing users to record and share setting information and microscope magnification to scale, measure and compare images.
