GAO Fiber Optics Rolls Out 3Com Compatible Transceivers

Provider of fiber-optic test instruments, GAO Fiber Optics has launched the new 3Com-compatible 3CSFP91 transceivers. The transceivers are ideal for applications such as Fiber Channel, Gigabit Ethernet, and SONET.

3Com Compatible Transceivers

The 3CSFP91 transceivers can be utilized in combination with 3Com device-supported SFP modules. The devices are completely compatible with standard 3Com transceivers with an operating wavelength of 850 nm for MMF.

Every single transceiver module links the module’s electrical circuitry with copper or optical network, and patch cords using UPC connectors or computer. The transceivers have various functionalities for physical network connectivity, such as wave division multiplexing solutions, Ethernet routing and switching equipment, cross-connect, distance extenders and media converters. The 3CSFP91 transceivers can be taken out from the host system easily.
