MIS Offers New Imaging Solutions for Macrostand Applications and Microscopy Systems

Manufacturer of digital microscope cameras, MIS has announced its new imaging solutions for macrostand applications and microscopy systems.

PAXcam digital microscope cameras

The PAXcam CONNECT software module is suitable for use in combination with PAXcam digital microscope cameras. This combined usage allows high-resolution, real time streaming of macroscopic and microscopic views, and synchronized live sharing of views with remote participants.

The PAXcam CONNECT can be utilized in quality control, clean room, and materials science applications, and as telemicroscopy software and telepathology software. The CONNECT upgrade functions with the current PAXcam hardware, while retaining the existing system settings. The upgrade enables image reporting and analysis, measurement, PAX-it image database and high-resolution image capture, and inclusion of live stream feature to local PAXcam live preview. Remote locations will be able to access the live streaming through free Player software that is available through web download.

MIS’ Vice President of Imaging, Tom Vuke stated that the PAXcam CONNECT enables simultaneous and live viewing of a subject over the Internet or local area network. The CONNECT enables collaborators around the globe to work together with a larger object, or a microscopic sample on a macrostand.
