Fujifilm Unveils New 3D Imaging Camera

Fujifilm has released the Real 3D W3 camera for 3D image capture. The Real 3D W3 shoots high-definition Real 3D video with playback through direct connection to 3D TVs with a HDMI mini-cable.

The Fujifilm camera comprises two 10-megapixel CCD sensors, and two 3x optical zoom lenses in the range of 35 - 105 mm. The CCD sensors offer the option to view 3D images on large-sized LCD monitors, without the need of special glasses. The Real 3D W3 incorporates a 3.5-inch widescreen LCD screen, Mini HDMI 1.4 port, and 2D and 3D functionalities. The LCD screen has a resolution of 1150k.

The Senior Category Manager of Consumer and Professional Products at Fujifilm, Matt Dole stated that the FinePix REAL 3D W3 shows the company’s dedication to 3D technology. Dole added that the company has enabled 3D imaging accessible to consumers, by providing them the option of shooting 3D HD video, as well as viewing movies and photos on 3D TV systems.
