GAO Comm Releases Dual-Wavelength Optical Light Source

GAO Comm has launched a new 08231 dual-wavelength optical light source that is specifically designed for maintenance, construction and installation of CATV and telecommunication systems as well as for fiber optic projects. The compact optical device is suitable for field use.

The handheld optical light source delivers a stable output power with adjustable frequency, and provides modulation frequencies of 2 kHz, 1 kHz, 270 Hz, CW, 2 Hz, and CW. The light source offers 850-1300 nm for multi-mode fiber measurements and 1310-1550 nm dual-wavelength outputs for measuring single-mode fiber.

The dual-wavelength optical light source has a user-friendly interface to offer a clear display of various test results. The handheld optical device is powered through a FC/Universal adaptor, and comes with a rechargeable battery.
