Provider of video surveillance and security solutions, Samsung Techwin America has announced the new SNV-5010 flat dome camera. The vandal-resistant camera offers a maximum resolution of 1.3 megapixels at 22 fps, and supports 16:9 HD.
The SNV-5010 camera is the latest model to be included with the 1.3-megapixel HD network range of cameras, at ASIS 2010. The flat dome camera comprises a built-in 3 mm fixed lens, and the housing of the camera is IP66 environmentally rated.
The waterproof SNV-5010 camera utilizes a 1/3-in CMOS imager, and supports Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) and multiple video streams (H.264/MPEG-4/MJPEG). These technologies use a 2D+3D filter and Samsung Super Dynamic Range contrast enhancement to minimize digital noise. The HD network flat dome camera’s intelligent video analytics has functionalities, namely appear/disappear, enter/exit, virtual line, and scene change. The camera offers privacy masking of up to 12 programmable zones, and multiple streaming of up to 10 profiles.
