Pelco Announces Spectra HD Imaging Camera

Manufacturer of security and video systems, Pelco has announced its new Spectra HD dome camera system. The Spectra HD is a suitable network video security solution for campus-based installations, corrections, education, and other applications.

The Spectra HD offers clear images through IP for live streaming to Endura, Web browser, and HD video management systems. The camera has open architecture connectivity, applicable for third-party software recording systems, enabling integration into an IP-based HD system.

The dome camera uses Sarix imaging technology platform, and provides up to 4× video resolution of the standard-definition IP cameras. The Spectra HD offers high quality forensic video information required by security professionals. The all-digital processing and 1.3 megapixel imager of the camera offer dual-stream H.264, as well as M-JPEG compression, at a maximum of 960p resolution. The Spectra HD has various features, including a 360° continuous PTZ control, auto-tracking, 18x optical zoom, and HD-optimized dome bubble technology.
