Hitachi Introduces TFT LCD Display Modules

Hitachi Display Products Group has unveiled the new high-performance, compact TFT LCD modules that are ideal for handheld and portable applications. The 4.3”, 3.5”, and 2.4” TFT display modules establish the company’s commitment to offer a complete portfolio of TFT modules, with screen sizes ranging from 2.4” to 21.3”.

The 4.3" TX11D04VM2AAA TFT display delivers resolution of 480 x 272 pixels, and has dimension of 105.5 x 67.2 x 2.9 mm. It has a 24-bit, 40-pin CMOS RGB interface that enables a maximum of 16.7 million colors to be shown. The 350cd/m² brightness and the 550:1 contrast ratio make sure the display images are well-defined. The TX11D04VM2AAA TFT display consumes a minimal power of 49 mW.

The 3.5” TX09D30VM1CDA display, weighing 40 g, has a dimension of 64 x 86 x 6.7 mm, and a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. Its 18-bit, 40-pin CMOS RGB interface supports a maximum of 262 K colors. The display also has an onboard power supply circuit, and an LED backlight controller.

The 2.4" TX06D126VM0AAA TFT display has a dimension of 41.9 x 61.5 x 2.6 mm. Hitachi’s white LED backlight and IPS make sure an improved optical performance is attained from any viewing angle. The display also has a display RAM and an 80 series CPU interface.

The three TFT display modules utilize chip on glass (COG) construction that assure reliable, robust functioning. The white LED backlights feature throughput functionality that offers enhanced display and brightness uniformity characteristics. The displays operate under temperature range of -20 to +70°C.
