Service Providers Use Products of Glimmerglass to Distribute Optical Signals

Provider of intelligent optical layer management systems, Glimmerglass Networks has delivered a presentation at the ISS World Americas 2010 that took place in Maryland, the US, from October 11 to 13.

ISS World Americas is a gathering of telecom operators and homeland security, intelligence, and law enforcement analysts from Latin America, Caribbean, and North America. The analysts and operators are responsible for cyber security, network intelligence, electronic investigations, and lawful interception.

Glimmerglass’ North America VP of Sales, Jim Donnelly presented on “The Evolving Service Provider Landscape and its Impact on Managing Network Intercepts.”. Jeff Zindel, Glimmerglass’ Vice-President of Marketing took part in the Guru Panel that covered Lawful Interception for New IP Services. Zindel and Donnelly discussed on the Cost Effective, Flexible Network Interception and Monitoring Solutions. The education programs of ISS consisted of seven tracks, with each track targeting a different type of the law intercept market.

Zindel stated that service providers and agencies who wish to include the latest advancements in the management of their fiber-optic network are selecting the photonic switching solutions of Glimmerglass. Service providers utilize company’s products to distribute the optical signals in very less time.
