Sunovia Energy announced that Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has tested and listed the company’s EvoLucia Aimed LED lighting solutions. The company has received several certifications, including the approval of the EvoLucia solutions for federal government sales. EvoLucia is a LED lighting division of Sunovia.

The UL listing and testing is generally not necessary for street lighting. However, EvoLucia applied for UL testing to ensure safety, reliability and quality of its products.
EvoLucia provides commercial-grade, long lasting and efficient LED lighting for various outdoor applications such as landscaping, parking lots, highways, streets, and parking garages. The Aimed LED lamps use the company’s patent-pending Aimed Optics technology. The technology directs light to the specific area and delivers enhanced illumination with low power consumption.
IES Standards Committee’s Chairman and the designer of the products, Rick Kauffman stated that the testing and the design of the Aimed LED solutions show EvoLucia's dedicataion to standards and performance. He added that the Aimed Optics technology offers precise and direct lighting solution.
