DeWys Purchases Amada Pulsar 2415 Production Laser System

DeWys Manufacturing, a company specializing in metal fabrication, has purchased a new laser sheet metal cutting machine from Amada America. The Amada Pulsar 2415 4kW production laser system provides advanced, high-speed cutting ability and reduced set-up time.

DeWys Manufacturing’s President, Jon DeWys stated that the cutting speed of the Amada laser system is greater than standard 4000 W lasers. He continued that the Pulsar 2415 laser system cuts down nitrogen cost and has more capacity. The laser system extends DeWys’ total laser capability to four lasers. This in turn allows the company to meet the growing demands of its national consumer base, DeWys said.

DeWys further added that the company is focused in enhancing its lead times. The laser machine reduces lead times and allows the company to meet customers’ demand for shorter lead time. DeWys informed that the laser device is capable of running 1 to 1000 pieces, and the nozzle changeover minimizes the setup time.
