Hitachi America has launched the new CPX8 3LCD video projector that provides brightness of 2,700 lm, and XGA resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The CPX8 projector measures 12”x 8.7”x 3”, and weighs lesser than 5 pounds.
The CPX8 incorporates two audio inputs, one audio output, RGB video outputs and inputs, and composite, S-Video and HDMI video inputs. The RS-232C port allows the projector to be managed as part of an A/V system. It also has a Kensington Lock anti-theft slot and an inbuilt speaker.
The CPX8 projector provides various features such as an Eco Mode that extends the lamp life and saves energy; a daytime mode for convenient viewing in daylight; a blackboard/whiteboard mode, and a customizable blank button for immediate control. It also features MySource, MyText, MyButton, MyMemory, and MyScreen buttons for swift remote-control access to functions that are frequently used.
The projector has a Hybrid Filter feature that provides 5,000 hours between cleaning, when the front air exhaust system projects the heat away from the audiences. In Eco Mode, the projector maintains a noise level of 28 dB.
