Hitachi America has released a new LCD projector that projects images at a maximum of 300’’ with XGA resolution. The CPX9 Portable Series LCD projector measures 12x8.7x3’’ and offers 16.7 million colors and 3,200 lm brightness.
The projector has a Whiteboard Mode that can be used to adjust the brightness level to minimize eyestrain and glare. It features a Template functionality, which displays a world map, circles or displays lines for convenient writing on an interactive whiteboard.
Hitachi’s LCD projector has a remote that provides MyScreen, MySource, MyText and MyMemory buttons for quick access to various sources and functions. The CPX9 projector offers an audio output, two RCA audio inputs, two RCA audio inputs, RGB computer video input, composite video inputs, S-Video inputs, built-in speaker and HDMI inputs. The audio pass-through feature of the projector allows the audio to play via the audio output. In addition, a RS-232C port controls the projector as part of the A/V system.
