Stalker Radar’s Law Enforcement Laser offers Quicker Target Acquisition

Stalker Radar will unveil the new Police Traffic Enforcement laser at the International Association of Chiefs of Police show. The event will be held in Florida from 24 to 26 October 2010. Stalker engineers had designed the electronics and optics for the new LIDAR LR.

LIDAR LR optics allow a typical 4000-foot target acquisition distance

The LIDAR LR features sturdy target tracking, greater range and swifter target acquisition. It has a forward-swept battery for enhanced ergonomics. The LIDAR LR meets both the European and the U.S. eye safety standards.

Stalker engineers developed the optics system with larger objective lenses that allow enhanced return signal reception and improved target illumination for a greater targeting distance. The LIDAR LR optics enables a 4000-foot target attainment distance, while the fine-tuned internal software algorithms offer reduced sweep effect, less dropouts and smoother tracking.

The LIDAR LR is ideal for officers requiring the latest technology, less arm and hand strain and longer targeting range. Stalker Radar products are utilized by numerous manufacturers needing speed measurement applications, professional sports teams and law enforcement firms.
