Provider of precision laser measurement solutions, Ophir-Spiricon, announced that the XEVA InGaAs NIR camera is now supported by the BeamGage laser beam analysis software. The XEVA camera is ideal for industrial and lab applications as it provides high-sensitivity in the NIR range at room temperatures.
The software’s correction algorithm handles both poor pixel correction and two-point correction to enhance the accuracy of the image. XEVA camera’s InGaAs array is formatted for 320 x 256 resolutions with square pixels of 30 ìm.
The BeamGage is based on UltraCal, which is a baseline correction algorithm from Ophir-Spiricon. The BeamGage software offers precise results and ensures that the data baseline is exactly at 1/8th of a digital count. The BeamCage comes in two versions, Professional and Standard.
The BeamGage Professional software has a number of features such as camera sharing and a .NET interface for complete remote control when combining the beam analysis into a preset application, and partitioning the camera output for individual examination of laser rays from sources. The BeamGage Standard has a complete group of beam examination algorithms, an automatic camera control for convenient usage and a BeamMaker beam simulator.
