Acuity Brands’ New Training Facility Displays Latest LED Lighting Solutions

Provider of lighting control systems, Acuity Brands has opened a new training center at the Sensor Switch facility in Wallingford, Connecticut. The plant will offer hands-on training for customers and business partners.

The facility will also display the latest Acuity Brands intelligent lighting controls and LED lighting solutions. The facility offers interactive training with daylight harvesting and occupancy sensors, along with a wide sensor display. It also exhibits the nLight network lighting control system developed by Sensor Switch.

The daylight harvesting and occupancy sensor solutions of Sensor Switch provide cost-efficient and unique means to substantially decrease consumption of energy. The intelligent sensors offer maximum energy savings of 40%. Sensor Switch utilizes Microphonics and Passive Infrared technologies to identify occupancy. When integrated with the nLight control system, users will be able to manage the lighting in a campus, an entire building, or an individual room. The nLight control system is easy to install and set up, and it provides a cost-efficient means of integrating lighting control.

The training facility showcases integrated lighting solutions, and emphasizes on the savings capabilities related to intelligent lighting control and LED lighting solutions. The facility includes Acuity Brands’ latest LED lighting and control technology, ROAM outdoor lighting controls, Peerless indirect lighting luminaires, and Lithonia Lighting RTLED luminaires.
