GAO Comm Unveils Double LD Fiber Optic Light Source

Provider of test instruments, GAO Comm has launched its new double LD light source, model 3C B. The fiber optic light source is suitable for attenuation measurement and for testing parameters in optical transmission systems. The light source comprises double laser diodes and performs accurate optical core check.

Double LD Source

The fiber optic light source complies with international optical instrument standards. The double LD light source provides anti-interference capability and a high stable output. The 3C B light source offers optional wavelengths including 1550, 1300, 850, 850/1300, and 1310/1550 nm, and an output power of ±0.05dB/8h.

The double LD light source provides switchable modulation frequencies such as 2 kHz, 1 kHz, 270 Hz and CW to meet a wide range of requirements. The light source is available with SC, ST and FC adapters.

GAO Comm also provides equipment for the maintenance, testing and installation of communications infrastructures.
