Acuity Brands Delivers Presentation at the OLEDs World Summit Conference

Acuity Brands, a provider of luminaires and lighting control systems, has delivered a presentation at the OLEDs World Summit Conference in San Francisco.

The presentation is a part of the company’s efforts to discuss about the feasibility and requirements of Organic LEDs. The company recently showcased two OLED luminaires at the LightFair International 2010 seminar that took place in Las Vegas.

The VP of Research and Development of Acuity Brands, Peter Ngai delivered a presentation on the topic ’An Accelerated Performance Roadmap for OLED Lighting’. He conferred about the sustainability, performance and design needs required from OLED panel developers, for the technology to be feasible in illumination and general lighting applications. Ngai utilizes both OLED as well as traditional sources to develop luminaires. He is focused on developing high-quality lighting solutions to improve the lives of people.
