Manufacturer of digital storage solutions, LaCie has launched a high-end desktop LCD display, ideal for pro image editing.
The 324i LCD display with a 24” screen utilizes a 1920 x 1200 P-IPS panel with a 10-bit color for every channel. The display provides almost complete coverage of the color spans required by the visual editors. It has the ability to attain 98% of the Adobe RGB color range, and deliver 102% coverage that can be used by NTSC video.
The 324i display generates a static contrast ratio of 1000:1, but when integrated with backlight stabilization, it produces a comparatively bright contrast ratio. The display is compatible to hardware calibration, and LaCie has bundled it with test software to measure the accuracy. It provides inputs with one each of HDMI, DVI, and DisplayPort components. The pivot support and the three USB ports add more versatility.
