Ruud to Showcase LED Lighting Products at Light Middle East 2010

Ruud Lighting will showcase its LED lighting solutions at Light Middle East 2010 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, from October 31 to November 2, 2010. Ruud Lighting is one of the main sponsors of the Light Middle East.

Ruud will display its new BetaLED LED lighting portfolio at the event. This product line focuses on the outdoor light applications for perimeter and security lighting, floodlights, pathway and area lighting, and street lighting.

Light Middle East brings together government and local civil representatives, lighting design specialists, consultants, developers, and architects to display new solutions. In addition, the lighting show allows individuals to study the advanced innovations from lighting design firms, distributors and producers of lighting solutions. The event will include a three-day conference programme highlighting on the modern advancements and issues associated with the global industry.

Ruud Lighting, USA’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Alan J. Ruud will give a presentation on 'How green are you: A focus on street lighting' during the conference ‘Green ME: What makes you Green’.

Ruud stated that LEDway streetlights designed for street lighting applications would save 40% to 60% energy than conventional products. He added that the LEDway fixtures have a longer lifespan with reduced maintenance costs.
