VSP Optics Group announced that it has acquired the full-service optical laboratory Capitol Optical in Olympia, Washington.
VSP Optics Group offers ophthalmic solutions and services to a network of 27,000 private-practice doctors.
Capitol Optical manufactures in-house anti-reflective coatings, under the brand name ‘Ethos’. In addition, Capitol Optical distributes a variety of ophthalmic products.
VSP Optics Group’s President, Don Oakley stated that Capitol Optical will enable VSP to provide better service to the doctors in the Pacific Northwest region. He added that VSP intends to upgrade the laboratory of Capitol Optical, including the installation of sophisticated lab equipment.
