Sony displays its new full digital imaging product line at Photokina. The company’s exhibits include the new S-Frame digital photo frames, Bloggie Mobile HD snap camera, Handycam HD camcorders, Cyber-shot compact cameras, and the á series interchangeable lens digital cameras.
Bloggie Mobile Camera
The A-mount system interchangeable lens digital cameras from the company use the Translucent Mirror Technology. The á model is targeted at step-up amateurs and photo enthusiasts. The á33 and á55 models are also on display at the Photokina fair. The á model allows fast shooting responses, and continuous AF at the time of HD video shooting and stills. The A-mount system accessories, which are currently under development, comprise Vertical Grip, flash, telephoto lenses, and standard zoom.
The Cyber-shot digital compact camera series comprise the super-slim T series, the high-performance H series, and the feature-packed W series. The Cyber-shot cameras feature Superior Auto Mode, 3D Sweep Panorama, and AVCHD Full HD video, for all types of shooting environments.
The Handycam hard disk drive and flash memory series combines the company’s expertise in advanced optical design, digital processing, and image sensing. The Exmor R CMOS Sensor, which is available with selected models, increases sensitivity, minimizes noise, and improves image quality in low-light conditions.
