T-Ray Science Submits US Non-Provisional Patent for 2D Imaging Process

Medical device company, T-Ray Science, has submitted a non-provisional patent for a Single Pixel Detector Based on Compressive Sensing to the U.S. Patent and Trade Mark Office. The company’s patent includes a process of obtaining a 2D image.

The new process will enable quick and high-quality scanning obtained from a Terahertz beam. The patented process will be used to develop T-Ray’s portable Skin Cancer Imager.

T-Ray’s Chief Executive Officer and President, Thomas Braun stated that the company understands the significance of improving its patent product line. The signal process patent matches the company’s intellectual property, Braun said.
