Nikon has expanded its portfolio of Creative Lighting System by launching a new SB-700 Speedlight for various photography applications. The SB-700 brings simplicity to multiple flash, remote and on-camera photography applications.
The high-performance SB-700 uses a wide zoom range to cover various focal lengths and features a FX/DX-format identification to optimize the zoom settings. The zoom settings are based on the camera body of a user. The SB-700 Speedlight provides a uniform and reliable flash exposure even under poor lighting environments.
The SB-700 offers three light distribution patterns to customize the flash-to-scene process, and offers an effective usage of flash coverage and batteries.
The SB-700 features a dot-matrix LCD panel to enable convenient usage and navigation. The multi-step power zoom of the SB-700 uses FX-format cameras to cover wide view angles of 24-120 mm. The SB-700 Speedlight supports the company’s wireless TTL operation.
The SB-700 can function as a Remote Speedlight when it is operated by the SB-900 Speedlight, or can work as a wireless Commander controlling two individual Speedlight groups.
