OM4106B Lightwave Signal Analyzer to be Demonstrated at ECOC

Optametra will demonstrate the OM4106B Coherent Lightwave Signal Analyzer at the European Conference and Exhibition on Optical Communication (ECOC) 2010. The demonstration will highlight the potentiality of this device for serial communication evaluation in fiber, at 100 Gb/s and more.

OM4106B Ligtwave Signal Analyzer

The OM4106B Lightwave Signal Analyzer has a bandwidth of more than 30 GHz, a frequency response that is equalized to a standard filter shape, swift setup, and MATLAB software, to deliver high levels of productivity. It provides tools such as EVM, CD compensation, Poincare sphere, BER, signal spectra, laser phase spectra, and Q vs. decision threshold.

The OM4106B also provides QAM and offset QPSK formats. The products of Optametra functions with all real-time digitizers, and incorporates complete ATE capabilities and remote access, for production purposes. Optametra’s VP, Daniel van der Weide stated that the lightwave signal analyzer allows users to speed up production and development programs.
