Toshiba Rolls Out New Series of LED HDTVs

Toshiba America Information Systems has rolled out two new series of LED High-Definition televisions (HDTVs), the SL400 Series, and the UL605 Series. The new models integrate high picture quality and stylish looks with various features, for providing high-quality visuals for the users.

UL605 LED TV

The Toshiba UL605 LED TV Series replaces the existing UX600 Series, and uses edge mounted LEDs for improved image detailing. The television utilizes the ClearFrame 120Hz technology to substantially decrease motion blurs that occur in fast action videos.

It has a Wi-Fi adapter to conveniently hook up to a network and the NET TV collection of streaming content.

The UL605 LED TV features a VUDU streaming movie service that provides users with more than 3,000 HD titles. The VUDU applications platform offers customers with access to Internet services and applications, such as Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, and Picasa. The UL605 LED TV also provides support for DLNA file sharing, and incorporates a USB port. It is available in 40”, 46”, and 55” screen sizes.

Toshiba’s SL400 Series includes two HDMI-CEC ports, which can be utilized to manage connected CEC units with the television’s remote control. It also has a USB port that facilitates music and photo sharing. The SL400 Series is available in 19”, 22”, 26”, and 32” screen sizes.
