Precision Solutions Showcases INTERFIRE II 3-5 Infrared Interferometer At Photonex

Precision Solutions will be showing the INTERFIRE II 3-5 infrared interferometer at Photonex, on the Armstrong Optical Stand, No. C10, together with a selection of IR optical components.

Part of the INTERFIRE II family of IR interferometers, the INTERFIRE II 3-5 can help evaluate the surface profile and transmitted wavefront error for both component and system requirements.

Surface measurements of IR lenses and mirrors can be made using the INTERFIRE II family of instruments equipped with µShape™ measurement and analysis software from Trioptics GmbH (which has recently acquired the µShape range of products from Fisba Optik AG). Used in production, laboratory and research for measuring the topography of flat and spherical surfaces or wave fronts, the software also has optional add-on modules such as ‘Aspheres’ and ‘Static fringe’ to extend the extend the functionality.

Precision Solutions also offers a comprehensive service for the design and diamond machining of complex IR aspheric, diffractive & hybrid lenses and metal mirrors, for use in a huge range of military and commercial systems. These complex components are designed for use in a wide variety of land, sea, airborne and space applications.
